Going Blonde
Going blonde is a major decision for some women. It could also turn out to be problematic since the perfect blonde shade that you have in mind may not be what you’ll get. Even if you get the perfect blonde, doubts of how suitable it is for you might still linger in your mind. To avoid recriminations after the deed is done, take the following suggestions seriously before rushing to the hair salon and going blonde.

• Discern your reason for going blonde
Know exactly what your reason is or reasons are for going blonde. Are you bored with your present hair color and you feel you’ll have more fun with a blonde head of hair? Is it because you’re jealous of the blonde girl the guy you’re interested in seems to find attractive? Are you 100% sure going blonde is your ticket to a new and exciting look?
• Be prepared for some not so kind remarks
Blondes have been labeled as lightweights in the intellect department and in spite of the supposedly “liberated” society, there will still be some stupid people from whom you will hear unkind comments or jokes.
• Realize that going blonde means a total change of look
Changing your hair color means a total change in makeup. Remember, the hair frames the face and since you are changing the color of the frame so should you change the color of the canvas to match the frame.
• Know the exact blonde color that you want and will suit you
Blonde means a choice of a huge selection of shades and hues. Before going blonde, know exactly what exact blonde shade or tint you prefer that would also suit your skin coloring and personality. If possible, bring a clear picture of the exact blonde shade you would want to have to your stylist and get her opinion of its suitability.
Blondes do have a lot of fun, so if you’ve made up your mind, just make sure that you have the right mindset for it. Photo Copyright of PR PHOTOS
