GREAT PROM HAIRSTYLES 2010

GREAT PROM HAIRSTYLES 2010
Out of all the events in a young girl’s life, prom may be one of – if not the – most important. Many girls enter high school looking forward to their senior prom. In fact, some families spend hundreds of dollars finding the perfect dress, shoes, accessories, and for the best stylist to come up with a wonderful hairstyle. Here are some ideas for hairstyles that won’t cost a fortune to get but will make you look beautiful at the prom.

One great style is a French twist with bangs. The classic French twist has been updated in this style. First, part your hair on the side. Then gather it in a tight, low ponytail and twist it up until it’s flush with your scalp. Secure the twist with pins and leave your bangs straight. This is a beautiful style that you can easily add accessories to in order to make the style perfect for you. It’s also great if you want to show off great features such as high cheekbones or your eyes.

Another great style is a classic messy bun. This style is easily dressed up with accessories, and it can be made to suit any face. For example, if your face is round, you can leave some bangs loose to frame your face and help to lengthen it. To make a messy bun, pull your hair into a loose ponytail high up on your head and secure it with an elastic, preferably the same color as your hair. Twist the ponytail around its base and use bobby pins to secure it in place.
